Which daughter boards do you have?

Feed Override and Spindle Override in the current version are +- only. When 2.5 comes out you can set the percentage directly.

I'm pretty sure the most common way is to use a small encoder on your panel to change the FO and SO.

I've found an example on the wiki:

wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/emcinfo.pl?Spindleoverride

thanks, it works !

BUT new question !

first:
i did
net fo-counts halui.feed-override.counts <= hm2_5i20.0.encoder.01.count
and use a encoder.

for others trying the same:
first 2 encoders (passive 3pin, A, B, C) did not work, 1st electronic encoder 4pin (Gnd, Vcc, A, B) works fine

now:
my speed goes from 100 to 110 to 120... steps by 10. how to do steps by 1 ?

thanks and best regards

wolfgang

Change the scale of halui.spindle-override.scale.
