EMC2, Where have you been all my life! was created by Harry_Y
It was a rough week for me since I was on call for work and putting
in a bunch of extra hours but today was the highlight of the week.
I finally got to swap out the old computer and Windows based
Software with EMC2 plus a new Intel d525 atom Computer
Wow! what a difference, the motors run Much smoother,
and all around the software is far nicer and better looking.
I am very impressed, and very happy I switched Back to EMC
Years ago I switched away when I was having some electronics problems,
But in hindsight I wish I would have never switched away. In the end
I paid a lot more to use software that was nowhere as nice as EMC.
It is nice to be back!
I would like to thank everyone who helped me get back over to EMC.

I was milling out a mini box as a breakout box with various
connector cutouts DB-25, DB-9, mic and RCA connectors.
It was quite the improvement, the movements seemed more fluid.
My old setup would turn the curves into a series of straight lines.
I do not believe EMC2 does this as cutting curves and circles
sounded far smoother.

Well EMC can convert real short arcs to lines if you have the naive cam detector turned on by using G64Pn and blend them together for even faster and smoother movements when cutting things with real short moves like a cam program might produce.
Have you read the couple of pages of the User Manual on important user concepts?

Lately I've been more in the integrator manual, trying to get this setup right
I plan to eventually get through the manuals since there is a lot of good info.
