Simulation mode in Ocelot ?

Still trying to get my laptop (Toshiba Satellite Celeron 2.6G, 32 bit) to behave itself with a clean install of Ocelot, I thought I'd push the envelope even further by trying to load emc2 in simulation mode(or is it "LinuxCNC" as I think we must call it now ?).

Before I give the laptop indigestion, has anyone tried the sim in Ocelot yet, and with what results/problems ?

Regards all,
John

Perhaps this might be better off if it was in the "Installing LinuxCNC" Forum ?

Sorry about that , John. I wasn't thinking straight ;)

On starting my laptop this morning, a warning window told me to do a partial upgrade.

This promptly removed the emc2 folder and various other dependencies.:(

Obviously Ocelot didn't like it, and spat it out......
