Will EMC2 perform the commuation of the servos?...if you have sinusoidal commuation at your machine please let me know how you got there

What are you trying to drive? Normally commutation is performed by the drive itself

According to the analog drive mfg's(AMC&Copely) if you want sinusoidal it has to be done by the controller, not the drive. So I was wondering if could get a straight response from someone here.

Its usually an option on high end drives, for example the Copley Xenus XTL series has sinusoidal comutation
