Is Jumper 5 in place?

Does the arrow next to the X-axis DRO change state when you manually press the switch?

Yes all jumpers's 1-5.
No, nothing happens when I enable sw, what can I see in Hal Metres/singles.

You should see the pin status on parport.0.pin-13-in (for X, if you have used the PBX suggested pinout)
You can open a number of Halmeters, or use the Show Hal Config "Watch" tab.
