When comes the new Ubuntu-LinuxCNC-CD was created by pfefferhaxen

Hi

are there some future plans about a new linux CD with emc2/linuxcnc which can be downloaded here as .iso? Actually I´m using Ubuntu 10.04, but this is already 3 years old.
Are there some information for a new Ubuntu-LinuxCNC .iso-download available?

No plans for anything new due to some problems with 12.04 and the real time kernel if I recall correctly.

10.04 is supported by Ubuntu to at least 2013...

We are still releasing LinuxCNC on 10.04 because there is no realtime patch for the 3.2 kernels (yet).
Having said that, we have released a new version of LinuxCNC in July (2.5.1).
There is no hard link between LinuxCNC versions and Ubuntu versions. LinuxCNC 2.5.1 runs perfectly well on 8.04.
