LinuxCNC and old Vexta drivers with CW/CCW signal was created by color
Hello, this is my first post here. I am new in the Linux world but after few weeks of reading in this great forum I would like to ask for help. I am currently using Mach 3 to control a little 4axis CNC milling mashine. This machine is driven by 5-phase stepper motros from Vexta. The Vexta drivers are old fashion and its input signals are CW and CCW. To work properly with Mach3 I built a simple circuit with TTL IC to convert CW and CCW to Step/Dir signals. Is it possible to configure LinuxCNC to use directly CW /CCW signal to control the XYZA drivers?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, you just use the control type 1 for up/down step pulses.
