Problems with Home Action

Hi everybody,

I have two problems with my CNC Laser. These are small but make my machine look ugly.

First, when I homed my machine it move the axes but stops at certain intervals until the home, why do it?
Second, Sometimes the machine does not give home all axes, the axes move home but the home flag is not changed. Now I have to give the home button a few times to get really achieve in home.

Sounds like an electrical noise problem with your home switch signals.

If it is, you can either filter the noise out

with hardware:
Install a .01 uF capacitor from the home switch signal to GND

or software:
feed the home switch signal(s) through the debounce component in HAL
set to maybe 3 servo cycles

Thanks PCW. My problem was solved with your suggestion. Effectively remove debounce by software and the machine cease to stop and always finds the home.
