Windows - accessing shared folder was created by rgnneteworking
Hello,
How do I configure CNC to access a shared folder hosted on a Server 2008 machine? I tried plugging in '\\servername\sharedfolder' inside the CNC Add File/Folder menu, but CNC was unable to access the shared folder.
Thanks!

HI
You need to configure your computer to connect to the server via samba
Probably will require the samba-client to be installed.
Once you can connect from the File Manager, the file open dialog in Axis should be able to see wherever the share is mounted too.
This is a simplistic guide

Have you tried that?
The Axis file manager is rather poor.
What I have always ended up doing is opening the share outside Axis (in Nautilus) then in Axis navigating to the hidden .hgfs folder in my home directory. Once in there you can see the Samba share.
