Non-realtime OS buffering circuit was created by NikNes
Has anyone built a simple circuit using something like www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/IDT720...00-1493-5-ND/1915794 that they've used to buffer output from pc hardware that's realtime-challenged? Any pointers/advice?

If you want external buffered hardware, its probably better to use a USB/Ethernet connected microprocessor, but note: except for some individual experiments, LinuxCNC currently does not support buffered hardware. This is because for certain tasks like threading, rigid tapping and probing, core real time logic in linuxcnc is involved.
