Four Processes with LinuxCNC

Hi, I want to ask a question. When I run LinuxCNC script, the four processes start up. How do they communication with each other ? Use NML or another way ?

For instance this is ps -A just after linuxcnc is started

but yes probably
(EDIT If you search the source for RCS_STAT_CHANNEL you will pick up the various processes and which NML channel they attach to )
