no Linuxcnc is not a cam program , it only takes gcode input ,
what type of 3d input cad file are you looking at using STL files ? 3d printing etc ?
most use slic3r to produce the gcode from stl files ,

I don't mind the input format, any parasolid is fine.
I want to obtain the g-code and then translate it into KRL with KUKA Camrob.
After that I'll mount a hot-wire tool in the robot arm and use it to cut the part in expanded polystirene.
Does anybody know which software I could use?
Thanks a lot
