Homing process doesn't work properly on Z-axis was created by minitreintje
Hello everyone,
I have a problem with my LinuxCNC configuration... The Z-axis doesn't want to home properly, I get this ERROR message: 'home switch active before start of latch move'
LinuxCNC stops to fast after the home switch is tripped so the home switch isn't released.
How can I fix this problem?
Cheers,
Dylan

Try slowing down the search velocity or do like Andy does and latch on leaving the switch by having the latch velocity the opposite sign from the search velocity.

Does the Z home switch work and have the correct polarity (true when at limit) ?
