Ubuntu not launching !!!!!

Good morning.

Since 2 months i have not shutdown the computer of my Cnc router linuxcnc2.5.3
This morning i have stop it before shuting down the power of the workshop for 1houre
Since this. Nothing happen,
Ubuntu wont start.

My boss is waiting for some job coming out of the machine,
I have try to boot on the Live cd and evrything work normally.....

When i tried sudo su
Xorg
Nothing happen. It failed.

Sounds like you have booted into recovery mode
The choice with ro single at the end

What happens when you enter startx?
(after you have logged in of course)
