No zero home on Z axix

No zero home on Z axix was created by kayej
Messing around with stepconfig to try and get my spindle motor working with little success, however, when I put everything back to the original values etc, my home location for Z axis is now -50.862 even though in the stepconfig file home location for Z axis is 0.0 When I home Z it reflects value -50.862. When the files starts the Z axis will go to -2 for engraving but home is still -50.862. Where did I go wrong?? Thanks. This forum has been outstanding in helping a newbie get onboard with linuxCnc.

You might have an offset from running a program.

Got it!! You got me going in the right direction. Touch Off was messed up and now everything is zero.
