Help with connector name(s) was created by Zahnrad Kopf
Can someone please tell me what the header ( and specifically - the required connector for it ) in this picture is called?
I'm looking for the 8 pin one in yellow.
I'm not very saavy with this stuff and need to order a connector for this but have no idea where to start or what it is called.
Alternatively, if someone can tell me where they might be used, I could even snip one off of something else and have it come with a ready to be wired pigtail.
Thanks.

If you have any old motherboards around I'd bet you can find a connector to fit that. It looks like a front audio connector.

John, you are a rock star!
Compaq part number 245151-001 will suffice. It's a 10 pin connector used for front panel USB ports, but fits this 8 pin header just fine and by moving one wire I can use it as a pre wired pigtail.
Thank you again, John!
EDIT - and with John's tip, I went searching and found this -
