Hello Chaps,
I am posting here because i cannot find an email address to send this query to.
I have a small engineering shop and I am writing specialized software for specific engineering applications
that will enables operator to input sizes and the cnc will make the part . The parts will be simple shapes washers, bushes
spacers rings etc .
The software will use "wizards" ( on screen diagrams ) to capture operator input component sizes. (The wizards will be similar to the MACH3) A tool path will be generated and Linux CNC will run the GCODE.
I would like to make the software available as a commercial package and charge a fee for the usage.
Please tell me how to do this without infringing on the Linuxcnc or linux liscence requirements

If your code creates G-code and then LinuxCNC runs the G-code then there can't be any licensing problem.
If you need to modify LinuxCNC in any way then it becomes a little more complicated, though I don't think that there are any insurmountable difficulties as Tormach sell their lathe with a LinuxCNC -based controller.
The best place to ask this question would be on the developers mailing list.
