I hope this is an appropriate place to post this question.

I'm not finding much on the subject of VOLATILE_HOME on the forum.

Can someone point me in the direction of good documentation for this, it might be useful.

The manual is usually the best place to start reading about anything.

Thanks John,

I was hoping for a bit more information, is this it?
I am running steppers so I would imagine this woulod be helpful, or is it?

That pretty much sums it up, on a stepper axis I'd set it to 1.
