I am trying to replace a control that died and had to change the drive too. I picked up an AMC DR100EE30A40NAC

Like most drives this is set up for 5v encoder (either single or double ended).
The problem is that the encoder from the old system was set up using a 10v single ended signal. The old encoder was an Eltra EH63GB500S8/24P10X3PR8

Any one know if there is an easy way to make this encoder work with this drive?

Looks like the outputs are push pull at the supply voltage (10v?)
so a low impedance 2 --> 1 voltage divider should work
Say two 330 Ohm 1/4 W resistors in series for each 10V output signal:
10V-QUADA --> R1.1 --> R1.2, AMC input, R2.1 --> R2.2 --> GND
10V-QUADB --> R3.1 --> R3.2, AMC input, R4.1 --> R4.2 --> GND
so a low impedance 2 --> 1 voltage divider should work

I'm no electronics expert, just trying to understand why your suggesting two 330ohm in series rather than one 660?

That makes more sense. 2 resisters making one voltage divider per input. Your first messages appeared (to me) to be suggesting 4 resistors per voltage divider. That was the part that confused me. Maybe you were referring to the two contacts on the 1st resister as R1.1 and R1.2. I read it as 2 separate resisters.

sorry, R.1.1 is netlist shorthand for R1 pin 1
