Both Home and Limit Switch?

Hello,

Moving away from Mach3. Did the import routine and it migrated the motor/driver settings into LinuxCnc but not my limit switch configuration.

So my configuration is as follows:

3 Axis Mill.

Limit switches for both -x and + x, -y and +y and +Z. Each are Axis has its own pin value in stepconf.

So my question is: Which limit switch configuration should I use?

The wiki documentation doesn't really give you a definition that I could see that described each of the limit switch options available in stepconfig.

I would like to home the machine like I did with Mach3.

so you have two switches combined to one parport input pin and you want to use it for home too?

that's 'both limits + home x'

It seems you only have a +z limit switch and you want to use it for home too?
that's 'maximum limit + home"
