Hi,
I'm using Ubuntu 10.04, but now it looks like the system won't allow me to do upgrades, because 10.04 is not supported anymore. any advice on this?

Hi,
You are right, Ubuntu 10,04 is not supported, only You can use for LinuxCNC development application and Install some apps compatibles with that kernel version. 10,04 is used today because kernel is based on Real Time structure, the actual Ubuntu versions doesn't have that characteristic. The actual LinuxCNC version is being developed with other linux distribution, they have Real Time Support. Only some LinuxCNC modules can be update in 10,04 version.
