Hi,

When I close the LinuxCNC window, in the terminal appears this error message:
X Error of failed request: GLXBadContextTag
Major opcode of failed request: 154 (GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request: 103 (X_GLXDeleteLists)
Serial number of failed request: 17629
Current serial number in output stream: 17630

Actually I don't have problem with the execution of any configuration, but I don't know the meaning of the error.

Regards.

If you google the error, you will see it can occur for a number of reasons.

One of the main ones is that your video card's rendition of GLX not sitting happily with openGL.
nvidia or ATi cards using proprietary drivers often throw this.

The other common one is when accessing remotely through ssh or similar.

Either way it is an X problem, not one with linuxcnc

Thanks,

I understand of the proprietary dirvers. I did a test with root user and the error or warning message didn't show again. Can I do anything for improve that issue?

I am working with a linuxcnc compiled package (in root mode) so I run my own conf. in RIP mode and after that I rebuild linuxcnc to work without RIP mode and use all the benefits of linuxcnc.

Thanks.
