Updating Dah Lih Mill

Hey everybody i am new to the Linux community and to restoring/ Updating old milling machines. I'm hoping that someone could steer me in the right direction with my project. I have a 1984 Dah Lih 3axis Mill that needs an update, i would like to exactly what Stuart did on "www.anderswallin.net/2007/08/dah-lih-emc2-conversion/" but i am having a hard time getting a hold of him and would like to know if any of you could help me accomplish this.

i have not because i anders.wallin didnt do the work he just posted it with Stuart Stevenson's permission. i tracked down Stuart through emc-mailinglist a month and a half ago, but he has not emailed me back..
