hi
would anyone know if the mitsubishi servo amplifer drive
mr-j2s can be controlled by linuxCNC using prallel port directly?
im new to this.
but i have the manual.
there seems to be some data on:
3.3.2 Signal explanations
For the I/O interfaces (symbols in I/O division column in the table), refer to section 3.6.2.
In the control mode field of the table
thanks for any help.

posting the manual if you can, would help, or quoting more of the specifications.
+-10volt amps are easy to use.
step and direction amps are easy
anything else is much harder.

It appears to offer step-dir position control. Some sort of break-out board to protect the parport might be wise.
