Hello,

Does anyone using Filou NC to generate G-Code for LinuxCNC? I used PCNC and Filou NC for several years now. Now I would like to use linuxCNC to control my machine. But I would like to use Filou NC to generate the G Code. Is there any postprocessor I can use with linuxCNC? www.filou.de/produkte/filou-nc12/postprozessoren.html

Thanks for your help.
Kind regards
Mathias

They seem to do a Mach3 post, that should be pretty close.

The differences are things like:
Line No's,
% delimiters,
M30 is different to M2 etc
which are fairly minor and easily rectifiable.

If you get problems you cannot fix, you will have to come back with the code that causes it and the post-processor.

Someone will be able to sort it out for you.

Hello,

Thanks for your answer. So now my machine is ready and I would like to start with a first test now. So there exists 2 Mach Postprocessors. Do you have any Idea which one I should try.

Thanks

Try both and see what the difference is?

It is very hard to guess what they mean by the R and D.
