I need some clarification..
  1. The input voltage to Mesa THCAD-10 should be less than 10V, am I right??
  2. The input to be taken across torch clamps?? I am going to use the attached machine.
  3. In that case, what is the voltage expected there (I do not have any experience till date)??
  4. And how to calculate the resistor both ohm and wattage??

Esab/Thermal Dynamics should be able to supply an automation Interface.

ref: www.ebay.com.au/itm/141477404121
set it to 30:1 divider. Set Linuxcnc/mesa up for a 300v full scale, Then you won't need any scaling resistors.

Note Esab now  owns Thermal Dynamics the original manufacturer of your machine.

Dear PCW,

I understand your point and I will ask ESAB for sure.

But can you please answer for THCAD-10 ( I have already in stock, and THCAD 300 is not with me) and if ESAB fail to provide.
