minimum feed rate? was created by clayton cramer
I am trying to set a milling operation at a very low feed rate .000001 ipm. G00 x1 y0 f.000001 I can't see that LinuxCNC actually drops the feed rate to this barely perceptible rate. It won't seem to go below 1 ipm.

Feed rate does not apply to rapid moves (G0)
Also note that it will take a long time ( about an hour) for the DRO that reads in .0001" increments
to change at 0.000001 IPM
(hint: watch motion.distance-to-go )
