Can I output g-code to a functional Roland mdx500 was created by Ben
Hello to the good people of this forum.
I own a fully functional Roland MDX-500.
It has 2 modes of operation. RML Is the mode I used for many years. There is a second mode which is g-code.
Could Linux CNC be configured feed g-code in real-time.? I like the interface and additional control it will add.
I Will appreciate any help,

I don't think that it can, or not without significant work, the first part of which would be to remove 95% of LinuxCNC.
What you need is "DNC" software. I found links saying that EasyDNC was Linux compatible, but all I seem to be able to find are Windows and OSX versions.
Google does suggest that minicom might work:
