So i have nearly all the parts to do the conversion... Even some standard steppers? but thinking of the Leadshine Eazy Servos?

Opinions? Any Disadvantages? or Advantages?

The Leadshine models below?

2 X 60HBM30-1000+HBS86H 425oz X-Y
1 X 86HBM80-01-1000+HBS86H 1143oz Z

Should i Splurge on the Driver or use a standard Stepper drive and Tie the Encoders in to a Mesa Board and let LCNC do the math?

I would think the closed loop stepper driver is well worth their cost. I have heard they are quite good, but I have no experience with them.

Trying to do meaningful closed loop stepping with ordinary dumb hardware, is not as simple as it might appear on the surface.
