Default Spindle Speed was created by beltramidave

I am looking for ideas as to why when I manually start my spindle (using spindle start icon), that I get no speed reference, despite in the .ini file under the Display heading, my Default_Spindle_Speed = 8000.. The only way I can get any movement out of the spindle (vfd), is by clicking on the speed + icon.
Thanks

What version of linuxcnc are you using and what screen.
A copy of your INI file might help too please.

I am using Axis 2.5.0. I will have to copy the .ini file.
Attached is a screen shot.
