Updated to 2.7.8 - I hope it fixes the issue. Waiting for new stock to come in to cut the part again

You can download the deb files for the latest version of Linuxcnc copy them to a flash drive (or some other way you might have to get files to the computer) and install them.
There are some instructions in the manual.
linuxcnc.org/docs/html/getting-started/u...ting_without_network
If you need more help with this just ask.

I do not think it is a Linuxcnc issue, as someone already mentioned. Do a search on youtube, there are some nice tutorials on caned cycles from HAAS explaining how to avoid those problems.
On the other side, Fusion 360 is being developed to produce gcode for a lot of machines and it still has a lot of bugs, if you read the reviews you can see a lot of things still needing fixing. But it is free and it does work nicely, and we should be thankfull for that ( although i do not use it, yet ).

Tom,
We can discount the CAM, as the entire program was posted here, and I've had a few people go through it line by line, It WAS probably bug #344, as I _was_ running 2.7.0 which had a documented error with the canned routines (the . 2.7.8 seems to work fine, so we can color this closed)
the line:
G98 G81 X0.875 Y-0.625 Z-0.533 R-0.05 F10.
didn't do a retract at the end
and the next line:
N80 X0.375
made the move in X, and the repeat just went DOWN from there - basically the Z plane got messed up

Thank you, i am glad you got it figured and posted back.
I have not uaed Fusion 360 yet, but i try to keep up with a lot of things ( not only cnc ), so i realy apreciate when anyome posts a solution to a problem for others to find, including me when i start using camed cycles and as i forsee, Fusion 360.
