minimum feed rate was created by clayton cramer
I am using a Sherline mill, and it appears that my attempts to reduce the feed rate to .0001 ipm isn't working. There is a MAX_VELOCITY parameter in the INI file set to 25, which does indeed seem to be the true maximum feed rate, but I am not finding a MIN_VELOCITY parameter.
It does appear that the very slow feed rates are working. Curiously, the problem I was having with vibration when g0 z-.14 f.001 went away when I did that that same depth .02" at a time. Ditto for the x and y motions. I would not expect different behavior from doing the move in small increments at the same feed rate.
