Mesa 7I77 and Argon problem was created by Sim0
Hi
I followed Wiki instructions and connected Mesa 5I25 and 7I77 combo to Argon drive.
There is a problem that I cannot solve by myself. If I try manual jogging, the motor
do not stop when i release mouse. In addition, If I try 5mm jog, It results in tracking error.
I think that there is an error in reading encoder information. Im using resolver adapter that is required. The
very same resolver pins that goes to Argon are connected to 7I77 as well. (After conversion).
Same signal to both devices.
Argon drive is configured such that I can run motor using a computer and interface "card" that I
bought with Argon drive.
Resolver gives 8192 pulses/rotation. So I figured out that there must be 2048 encoder lines/rotation.
Any ideas?
