Oh man, I am sitting with a half finished machine job...

I loaded a file with an error in a while loop.
Linux cnc went busy forever and so did the computer until I turned it off.

After restart, linux cnc will no longer start.

The computer was set up in 2012 and has no network.

Hence the pictures.

What can I do to get it working again?

Regards
Bernt

It seems the hal_lib is missing in /modules...

If so, where can I find it and copy it back in?

I'm not shur, but Lcnc stores some variables etc in tmp files.
Make a complete copy of your directory and then:

Maybe you have a look in your working directory and regard the file date an time.
Rename the new ones one by one.

Only an idea as long you get an educated answer from an real scilled one.

I'd run fsck ..... Could be a file system issue, if the computer wasn't shutdown properly.

Far out, it works again.

I have no idea what it was. I did run fsck but not sure if that was it.
Anyway, I am machining again.

Cheers
