Gscreen homing not possible by normal startup was created by Grotius
Hi,
I start up Gscreen with the linuxcnc startup chooser.
Then i want to home all the axis by clicking the button's of the axis.
What must i change in the program to home the gscreen x, y and z axis?
The message is : " must be in joint mode to home "

What version of linuxcnc are you using - I just tested and it seemed to home properly.
IIRC there was a homing problem a month or so ago but it was fixed.
Are you trying to home axes individually or all at once?
There is a button (home-all) for homing all the axes individual
There is a button( home axis) for home a selected axis - select the axis by pressing one of the axis letter buttons.

Hi Chris,
Linux version 2.8.0 pre,
It's the gscreen/gscreen_custom/gscreen_gaxis version.
Sorry to not info you the exact gscreen version.
Maybe they forgot something to update in relation with joint mode?
I just want to check it.
I am considering to use gscreen for my template for custom user interface.
Gmoccapy i also tested, but is quite difficult to simplify. But im my project i trie to take the code
for the g-code view with the colors on m3 and m5. Also the speed control widget is nice.
I was quite far with my custom gui until i did the update to 2.8.0 pre. Then
it did not work anymore because of the joint mode update. So i have to start again.
