Has anyone else had any experience with servo amps requiring a clockwise/counterclockwise signal in addition to the +/- 10v signal to activate servos? Im wondering how I would accomplish that signal.

You can achieve it in HAL by using the "Abs" component.
linuxcnc.org/docs/2.7/html/man/man9/abs.9.html
That has output pins that can be connected to GPIO of is-positive and is-negative.
Is the drive really +/-10V or is it 0-10V?

I believe it is actually +/-. Which makes it more baffling that it would require a directional signal in tandem with the variable 10v signal. The picture I attached is taken directly from the manual for the drive. Thank you for the response, I will work on it.
