Run from selected line was created by 64dodge
I have set up a tool table with the tools I use and put rings on them for length offset.
So I dont break programs up by tool any more. When I need to rerun a tool in the
middle of program I go to gedit search for tool and get the line number then go back
to axis and scroll down a few hundred to thousands of lines. High light the t?m6 then
run from selected line. It works well but was wondering if there is a search feature that
is in or can be added to axis to make this easier?
Thanks
Tim

The Touchy interface will only run-from-line on lines that have an N-number at the beginning. That makes scrolling through to potential start point easy if you only have an N on tool change lines (this is something that I sometimes do).
I don't know if the same thing exists in Axis, it is a long time since I used it.

Ya I would add a N1-2-3 at each tool change if I could search for it in Axis.
Thats what I do at work programming Fanuc but Fadal and Philips Mahos
come up with all numbered lines. The Brothers are conversational so we
dont do long programs on them.
I may have to check out some other GUIs.
Will Touchy work without touch screen?

You can use it with a mouse, but it required a jogwheel and some physical buttons to be usable.
