Does anyone know where there's a package for the camunits/camunits-python stuff (or another webcam/crosshairs type package) that works with the live CD install of Wheezy?
There are other debian and ubuntu packages on the main site, but nothing for Wheezy.

There is an old solution I think is called Camview. Its mentioned on the Gmoccappy documentation page. Another solution is just to embed the camera software as there are some command line options that draw rectangles from the command line. 2 rectangles with an intersecting corner make crosshairs..... Sorry can't remember the program.
