Running G-code Ripper from the desktop was created by Arnell
I'm new to Linux and I am sure I am missing something. I can run G-code ripper from the command prompt via Python but would like to run it by clicking on the icon from the desktop. When I try this the program flashes on the screen quickly and disappears. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi Arnell,
Hi if you place the tekst "gksudo" in your command line of your starter icon options. The program wil start as admin.
It is called launcher command, for example :
normal command for starting linuxcnc with desktop icon :
linuxcnc /home/grotius/linuxcnc/configs/my-mill/my-mill.ini
admin command to start graphical :
gksudo linuxcnc /home/grotius/linuxcnc/configs/my-mill/my-mill.ini
gksudo is the graphical way, sudo is the command line way.
