Hello!
Please apologize me for this question but I would like understand how I can solve this my troble:

A Few Years ago (2009) I developed my 6 axis cnc using the Linuxcnc Version 2.3.0
So all is perfectly working.
So now I would like to upgrade my linuxcnc version to a new one. At the moment I have installed on a new computer the version 2.7.12 (Debian version) but for sure i can upgrade it at the last version.

My question is:
How i can upgrade my project files builded by Ver 2.3.0 to a new version? (Example 2.7.12 or newer?)

Which files and which command line i must edit in mine .HAL and .INI files and other files?

Any suggestions?
I will apprecciate a lot Your Help!!
I Attach too my .INI and .HAL files from the original 2.3.0 Ver.
Many Thanks for Your Time!
Luciano

For a parallel port config like that, I don't think there are many changes necessary. The main one I can remember is to comment out or remove from your hal file the line.
loadrt probe_parport

But to be certain you should review the upgrade section of the manuals for 2.4, 2.5, and 2.6 to make sure there are no other changes that would apply to your config files.
linuxcnc.org/docs/2.6/html/common/Updating_LinuxCNC.html
I don't think there are any other than the name change from emc to Linuxcnc of the directory where your config files are stored.
