Hi,

Why is IRC not working?
I get following error : == Cannot send to channel: #linuxcnc

Just tested it, it works, just do not put # in the channel thingy.
C@#$ it does not work, still. They are having problems with some malware or similar for over a week.

You have to register your nick, this is because there has been a spam flood on multiple IRC channels including LinuxCNC and LinuxCNC-Dev, so random non-registered users are not permitted to post currently

Its easy to register your nick with freenode:

freenode.net/kb/answer/registration
