LinuxCNC Terminated With an Error!

This machine is at my school and worked at the end of last year, however when I try to start the program now it crashes like this.
It's a Probotix Nebula if it matters

Looks like someone edited/damaged the hal/ini files on a Windows machine :-(

I would fix the DOS line endings first or revert to a working backup hal/ini file set if you have it.
