I am new with linux cnc !
can anyone help me out , i want to use linux cnc on my stepcraft 600.
is there a manual how to do this?

Not for your specific machine. (that I know of) But it looks like it should be a basic 3 axis router with stepper motors, so shouldn't be hard to figure out. If the manufacturer offers a Mach3 option to run using the parallel port (not USB) then you could possibly import that configuration file into Stepconfig to quickly generate a configuration for Linuxcnc.

Their website mentions a Mach3 XML file. But I can't see a way to download it.

There should be a CD among the router documentation. I remember to have installed linuxcnc a long time ago in a friend's Stepcraft following the instructions written on the manufacturer's CD. The router has improved considerably, but it remained a piece of scrap anyway :evil:
