Anyone running a CharlyRobot with LinuxCNC was created by Nikolaiownz
Hello..
I got a older CharlyRobot cnc router with gpilote - but that software is really lack luster and i am looking into maybe using some other software to control it.
Anyone had success running it with Linux CNC?
I belive its controlled throug the COM port on the PC.

If you mean that it is controlled by the Parallel Port then the chances are very good that a LinuxCNC conversion would be easy.
Do you know which pin is which?
If it is controlled by a serial data protocol then things are rather more difficult.
