I want to restore old CNC machine with DC servodrives that has not 10V analog input but 7V.
I think that for such drives perfect will be 7i77 board but it has 10V output. What should I do? Can I configure in linuxcnc maximum output for 7V or it's beter to use operational amplifier to change voltage? As my experiance shows - less devices = more reliable.
Or there is other boards for 7V are present?

I would just bound the output with the max_lim and min lim parameters

That might be the absolute maximum rating for a PWM input, i do not think it is +-7V. Does the drive have a dir pin?

Didn't think about that, it could be a maximum for a TTL of RS-422 type input

Do you have the drive manual or listing of the controller connection pins?

Yes I have drive manual.

Drive doesn't have dir pin. It controls with standart +/- control voltage.
Question is only in 7 volts.
If I reduce maximum and minimum voltage everything will be OK. It's very good.
