linuxcnc stretch 32 bit with mesa 7i92 was created by Clive S
I have the 64 bit working ok.
But I have an old pc that won't accept the 64 bit version.
I am having trouble with the 32 bit version
will this version work with the 7i92

Is this the 32 bit Stretch ISO image?

The errors don't seem hardware related, is it possible you are using a hal/ini file from a different LinuxCNC version?

How old? i have some 6 or 7 year old ones running Debian Stretch or Linux Mint 64 bit with Preempt-RT quite nicely.
That should work as it requires Preempt-RT of the kernel, not 64 bit versions.

I did not realise that the two version were different. What are the main differences.

Yes that was the reason I had to alter the hal and ini files to the 2.7 standards.
