Lenovo M57 - No boot with Mesa 5i25 was created by micahvestal
I upgraded from an old Dell PC to a Lenovo M57 and am having a boot issue when I install the Mesa 5i25. The Lenovo will not boot with the 5i25 installed, unless I move the W5 jumper to the down position (PCI Bus Isolation mode). The 5i25 works in my old Dell PC, so I assume it is in good working order. I have tried another PCI card in the Lenovo M57 and the PCI slot appears to work.

Any ideas that I can try to resolve this? I bought this Lenovo PC and loaded Linux on it, so I'm pretty sure I can't return it now.

For anyone who finds this later and is curious, Mesa tech support told me that there are a very small percentage of motherboard/cpu/bios combinations that reject the Mesa PCI cards.

In my case, I read up on the return policy and it looks like I can return and exchange. With any luck, I will be trying an HP tomorrow.

EDIT: I switched to an HP PC and the Mesa Card works fine.
