As Pcw answers here
I do like to know if i can start a Linuxcnc Mashine Coonfig bevor Powering the Mashine itself
Im in Education so it is NOT best to power the mashine bevor the PC
and the Mesa Cards need to be powerd bevor the Mashine Config starts otherwise im getting a pin not present error
So maxbe the Config line reading the Bitfile or somthing like the pin file first

If you want to avoid the startup error you could create a script
(or edit the LinuxCNC script) to pause LinuxCNC startup
and print a message like "Waiting for machine power"
until the I/O card is accessible
(you could ping the card to determine if its accessible)
