Hey, guys.
What about to add LinuxCNC repo to the issuehunt.io platform? Solving issues, bugs and new features can be rewarded from other users and developers :)

Since the linuxcnc project has no money stream, I don't see the advantage.
If anybody wishes to pay someone to develop they would be free to do so.
Then they could request a 'pull' of the changes.
I feel the bigger problem is we are low on active developers with push access to the project.

Some payed features stay out of the main repo, because clients prefer to not publish the results. It's really bad thing but this is reality. If new features will be rewarded by the community the development can goes faster.Since the linuxcnc project has no money stream, I don't see the advantage.

I think it's a normal practice for big and important projects.I feel the bigger problem is we are low on active developers with push access to the project.

it is a side projekt to linux and not in main stream public vision as the technologie is changing quickly
so no need to get that far to a development platform

We can use any other open project to support developers (:
