Screen glitching from screensaver

This has happened on 2.6 and 2.7 as well. When power management shuts off my screen automatically, and I move the mouse to turn it back on, it comes back glitched out like this. I haven't been able to disable the screen turning off in 2.7, can't remember how I did it in 2.6. Any recommendations for resolving this? I don't want a screen saver or the monitor to turn off while the CNC router is running, for what it's worth.

Haven't seen that.......Since that is a base OS issue I'd try searching for any issues like that relating to debian either wheezy or stretch depending on which version you installed.

I had to install xscreensaver to get this option

menu > settings manager > screensaver
